the little bugger, my little anerythristic has buzzed her tail at me when i have put the lid back on her enclosure the last 2 times i fed her. she never used to do it before. I tested to see if she wasnt just buzzing at the pinky, so i moved my hand back slowly and forward, it was like i was controlling the volume off the buzz by moving closer, little toe rag! is that some sort of way of saying this pinkies mine? or just get away? maybe im putting the lid on too quick, any help to give me id be glad to listen.

I think its a defensive thing saying leave me alone, warning you off. Ours do it when we feed them. We have a lot of small enclosures sharing heatmats and wjhen weve fed one and move along to the next one, the one with the food often rattles its tail. Occassionally the odd one may do this when they are in shed, we have one that does this every shed. I think she just doesnt like being disturbed at this time. I dont think its anything to worry about, all perfectly normal.
