A couple of weeks ago my daughters teacher asked me to bring in some of our reptiles to help the children learn about rain forest creatures. Martin and Dawn kindly loaned me various creatures to help out. So today I went along expecting to have a half hour or so with my daughters class. It went so well, that I ended up teaching 3 different classes whatever I could about reptiles, lizards, geckos, and a limited amount about Martin and Dawns collection of millipedes, thingyroaches, giant stick insect, scorpion and giant land snail. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and all the kids seemed to aswell apart from one little girl who got a fright when my crestie jumped and landed on her jumper. I enjoyed showing the kids the creatures as much as I enjoy keeping reptiles. On the way home I could hear all the kids talking about it which brought a big smile to my face.

;DWell done Angi.I think that teaching children and letting them be interactive with reptiles helps take away the stigma that is associated with reptiles etc.Think it also helps that children seem to have less fear than us adults. ;D
