We went to our first reptile show today, the EHs show in Norwich. I enjoyed meeting loads of people off the reptilecrazy site including Tanya, Wendy, JaneW, Daisy, Debs, Burmese, Fatso, Hysteria etc and we also bumped into Helen A J with her hubbie and brother who bought half the show . We came away with a mate for our BRB, she is stunning. I think I expected more variety in the reptiles, but then maybe Im spoilt what with meeting Laurens reptiles and visiting coast to coast and snakes n adders It was still good though, very well organised and a credit to the EHS. Beth came away with some apple snails and a crested gecko T shirt. We are going to have to get a show going up here in our northern parts sometime

lol, a lot of the animals were 'pre-bought' at the IHS Show by a friend as we couldn't go, so technically that was two shows worth of animals, hehe ;D we came away with a jampea retic, a striped house snake (need to find a mate for it now , a mexican rosy boa for our other one, a pair of tropicolotes steudneri, a pari of children's pythons, two hognoses (although only one was ours- the other is for a friend), an anery corn (our third one, although it is second generation captive bred so nice pure bloodlines ), I also felt there wasn't a huge variety in species, although there were quite a few adult snakes being sold, and it was pretty good as shows go- trouble was it was so busy I couldn't really speak to anyone, and we had to leave to get home early enough to sort the animals out- over 10 hours of driving today and only 4 hours of sleep- night night! ;D

Thats why we camped. We couldnt subject our daughter to 10 hours in the car in one day, luckily she was very good and only asked " are we there yet?" about 50 times in total, lol.
