These are Candoia carinata paulsoni - Soloman Island ground boas. I bought them on Tuesday and couldn't resist - how gorgeous are these! I don't have names for them, can anyone think of any?

How about chocolate for the darker one and Caramel for the lighter one? Whatever you call them, they are beautiful. I wouldn't be able to resist them either!

the darker ones colouring looks like a viper boa- candoia aspera- they are both very pretty- I hope they feed well for you

They are truly beautiful Lauren(green with envy here) How about Suede and Leather? or Rattle and Shake? Sorry we didnt bring the snails weve been working then went away camping. I might walk over tomorrow with them if theyre still alive!

I still don't know what to call them Your names are cool but they don't suit their very cool personality. Both fed on Saturday night, I was very relieved as they can be little gits to get going! They are a pair claire, with the dark phase being the male!

They are beautiful Lauren - even more so in the flesh!! I think you should call them Dusk and Dawn (after the George Clooney film).

I don't know, I think John would be annoyed if I called them that since his sister in Law is called Dawn.
