I transfer mine into a smallish tank and to stop them escaping I put old netting under the lid. They can't get through the netting and I have only had 3 escape in 7 months. That was because a door fell onto the cricket tub and they went everywhere. Hope this helps.

In the vivariums, I wedge the gap between the door with bubble wrap! It works a treat ;D

In my leo viv, I don't need to worry about them escaping as it is an all glass tank. With my cresties I put the crickets in a tub so they don't get lost in the viv. It works for me as I said I have had very few escapees.

Nope, mine are always escaping from vivs, I have bought some of the traps for catching them from live foods, I keep one of them under the fridge.
