Im interested to know a bit more about the background of calico cornsnakes. the reason Im interested is that Ive read that they suffer from a lupus like illness, im a rheumatology nurse and Im interested in lupus, I also own cornsnakes, so this is of dual interest to me. How did the calicos come about, what morphs led to it. Has anyone performed any research into the lupus aspect of their illness and the genes involved? Im not an advocate of animal research, Im just interested in any similarities and wondering if thses snakes could bring us closer to finding out the cause of lupus and possible prevention or treatment. Ive posted a copy of this on serpencos site, hopefully someone will be able to enlighten me angi
