Today I went to enquire about getting some business cards made to help advertise our group, meetings and website. I must be very naive, as I nearly fell through the floor when he said there cheapest package was £55 for 500! So Im afraid I wont be getting this done. Instead I will try to print some out onto paper and then distribute these.  |

go to www.vistaprint.co.uk and you can get them made up there either free or cheap if you want to customise  |

That was a good link Helen, Ive ordered 500 of the "free" ones(which werent quite free!£10 costs incurred, tax, postage and packing etc!), then because I customised them and ordered 500 instead of 250 it ended up costing an extra £15 for 500 cards, £3 as a one of charge for uploading the custom image. So all in all it cost £28. Oh well, Im suggesting a fund for our group to recoup advertising money, and to save for guest speakersetc.
Nothing ventured nothing gained!

Theyve arrived today and theyre looking good.
Ive also recieved an email to say the actual price was £26 so its less than originally quoted.
So over the next week or so I will be dishing them out to people and shops.

Im a little surprised at our vets, they wont let us advertise our reptile group there. No reasons were given. I will chat to the vet directly next time I go. |
