This is Hector. He's a Lava Lizard who was given to us by Lauren. He's a really interesting lizard to watch - he swims under the sand to go to sleep. Many a time we've thought he's escaped, as you can only tell he's in the viv by his spikes along his back just poking through the sand. ;D

For some reason it hasn't shown up on the photo but his sides and back were a bright orange colour - I've never seen him so colourful. He is cute

He looks like he is posing for the photo ;D, Kind of cool. Dont you hate those few seconds when you cant find one of youre reptiles? our baby cresties are forever curled in tiny spots and notoriously difficult to find.
