Sorry, I know this bit is for spider lovers but you people are probably more clued up about this sort of problem. A friend of a friend has had her garden landscaped and has since found her garden covere( and I mean teaming) with spiders. How can she get rid of them, any ideas anyone?

Most gardens are full of ground spiders and you don't usually see them unless you go looking. When the garden was landscaped they were all disturbed and are now left out in the open where you can see them. Just leave them alone and they will be seen to by the birds and will dissapear in a few days or so. The other thing it could be is a population explosion if so the birds will do the job for you.
