Our viper geckos were brought around by Lauren and Julie yesterday and have settled in nicely. They chased there crickets round like good uns last night. We have yet to name them so any suggestions will be welcome, there are three of them.

Ive decided on names. Im on a diet, which I rarely do and have lost 3lbs this week. So I thought appropriate names would be Aero, Bournville and Starbar, my 3 favourite chocolate bars. So I can have chocolates in the house whilst dieting ;D

I was thinking of something that represented their colours - chocolate and caramel. Then bingo chocolate bars!!!

Contrary to what a couple of care sheets state, these geckos DO climb. This week ours have climbed glass sides of the viv and an imitation bonsai. So anyone reading a care sheet that says you dont even need to put a lid on youre viv, please ignore that advice.

I too have seen mine climbing the sides of their tank. There was a post on another forum about this (livefood I think). Someone mentioned that when they are young they tend to climb and as they get older they stop doing so. His theory was that as they get older their feet can't take the weight of the bodies anymore, that is to climb vertical surfaces.
