Hi everyone
We are looking at getting one of these as they are very similar to beardies but smaller. The only problem is we don't know where to get one from. If you know anywhere we can get one from then please tell me. My local reptile shop has had them in recently and I will ask him. It needs to either by near Essex or be able to deliver. Thanks

Hiya, I would contact Barry Summerhayes as he breeds pure rankins- a lot of people try selling cross breed rankins/bearded dragons (Vittikins Dragons) as pure rankins rather than what they actually are. Baz's site is www.hognose.co.uk I have had rankins from Baz before and I highly recommend him- he is a good friend of mine ;D |

I second that! Barry bred a friend of mines rankins and they're little stunners! My friends rankins are now all grown up and haveing babies of their own, but he lives in Billlingham near Middlesbrough and won't ship, so he's no good.
Personally, I prefer normal beardies to rankins, I know they're both similar, but beardies, in my experience tend to be more active than rankins, and respond to their names and stuff like that. Personally I've never kept rankins, but the ones we've had in the shop have always been less active and stuff than the beardies.
Its up to you, but I know which one I'd choose given the choice.

The reason we are going for rankins is because we don't have the room for beardies. They are smaller and need less room. Do you know if Barry delivers? Where abouts is he? Do you know How much they are? I will contact him later on so don't worry if you don't know. Thanks though.

Barry doesn't courier rankins as they tend to get easily stressed with being couriered- I had 2 rankins couriered once and they were really stressed- I would never do it again with rankins  Baz lives in Essex  |
