After phoning the vets 5 times in the last week or so they finally told me today that the vet hasnt had time to do it, they are very sorry, but one of there vets is on holiday and another has left.
Whilst I think that the living are more important than the dead, and that they must prioritise when short staffed, I also feel they have let me down with their lack of communication. I wasnt even given the option to take it to another vet for a post mortem.
Not exactly impressed with this, but I know she is a good vet.
