Cloud in the North and east especially, with outbreaks of rain, some heavy. This beginning to die off and fragment though, leaving showery bursts for a time. Dry and bright in the South and West, with sunshine at times, but some heavy and possibly thundery showers developing, particularly in the South West. Temperatures 6-11c in the North, 11-14c in the South.
Saturday
Bright and sunny at times, but some light showers developing through the day. It will become cloudier in the South of England and Wales later, with rain pushing in. It will also become windy, especially through the evening and overnight. Temperatures generally a bit above average, 7-11c in the North, 11-14c in the South.
Sunday
Rain across the East, but this clearing away. Sun and showers moving in behind, with bright spells. It will also be windy, making it feel quite cold. Cloud and possibly rain will push into Southern areas later. Temperatures 6-10c in the North, 9-12c in the South.
Monday
Rain or showers quite widespread through the day, some of these heavy and prolonged at times, but also some sunny intervals between. It may also be quite windy at times, especially in the West and North West, around the coasts. Temperatures of 6-10c across the UK.
Tuesday
Some more organised rain and cloud pushing south from Scotland and N. Ireland through the day, with showers possible also, especially in the West. Quite windy in exposed Western areas. Temperatures 6-10c in the North, 8-11c in the South.
Wednesday
Some more organised and heavy rain in the South and South East at first, with showers following on behind, especially in Central areas, where they could be heavy and prolonged at times. Temperatures 5-9c in the North, 8-10c in the South.
Thursday
Showers around coastal fringes, and these pushing further inland through the day, with colder air pushing into Scotland. These showers could be heavy and prolonged in Central areas later. Later on in the day there is also a risk of more organised rain pushing into Scotland, with snow over the hills and mountains. This pushing South overnight. Temperatures 5-8c in the North, 7-9c in the South.
