This is a place that takes in reptiles that need rescuing. They are always looking for people to rehome reptiles with, in particular larger reptiles such as monitors and large snakes. Send them an email if you can help rehome a reptile. They are also looking for sponsors for the reptiles or donations to help paying for food/ set ups etc. Visit their website to read more www.skyeserpentarium.org.uk Im impressed with their approach to educating the general public about reptiles and dispelling a few myths. They encourage anyone who visits to handle a reptile, showing them that there is no need to fear them so much. Angi

We haven't been to the Serpentarium but we have met the owners. They had a stall at a reptile show years ago and we bought a trio of Whites Tree frogs from them. From your photos Angi I'd love to go there (the Serpentarium and Skye!).

They seem nice and are certainly very knowledgeable. Ive met a woman called Catherine who runs the place, she used to be a nursing sister. She was very friendly. I will definately visit again. Theyre doing a great job. Angi
