I love dogs, but unfortunately we can't get one because of our cat. I also love rats but we don't really have room for another pet! Hurry up and get some pics of them!

I love my 2 dogs. They are 2 black labs. great dogs. i also have some tropical fish, 2 goldfish, 2 rabbits and a hamster (which is a stupid b*tch). She has bit me 3 times, and we have only had her 2 weeks. I dont like her, so my bro looks after her, and she has bit him aswell.

I don't like hamsters either (syrians are the worst), I work in a pet shop and they are all so aggressive. I have only met 2 friendly syrian hamsters since I started there (about 9 months). They are all so nasty, the dwarf hansteres are much nicer. Although rats are my favourite rodent out of the really small ones (smaller than guineas of course).

I'm not a fan of hamsters, all yhe ones I've seen have been bad tempered. Rats are by far the best small pet (lherps excluded) when Lauren was small we had 8 at one time, they are so cuye and nosy.

At work we recently had a female rat accidently get pregnant. She was a first time mum and had 15! She raised them all and they were all extremely tame. We were very sorry to see them all go.

We used to have 3 tanks of tropical fish. 1 with Malawi cichlids, two community tropical fish. My favourite were guppies and my red eyed puffer fish, but Ive let them go to my brothers and mums to make room for reptiles. Puffer fish are really brill fish, but can be a bit aggressive. Angi

My pooch is an eleven year old chihuahua! She's my sanity. When life turn sour, she's there to remind me that good stuff's around the corner.

Just to reply to my mams post. My rats names are Magnus, Archer and Missy. Magnus is a Husky rat, he's a babe! He was destined for snake food I got him from Cotswold wildlife park. I bought a Rhacodactylus leachianus from the head reptile keeper last october, he gave us a free tour round the park. On our way round he showed us the rodent room. He showed us the breeding facility and the youngsters destined to be snake food (there was about 40 of them). Most of the babies were white or brown, but sta right in the centre of the pile of baby rats was a dark grey baby with a big white blaze up his forehead! I begged mam to let me take him home, she said no. Three hours of walking round the park with me saying "please mam, please mam", she finally relented and I took little Magnus home. Within six weeks his coat had changed from almost black to a husky dog colour! He's such a babe! I got him a friend from the RSPCA and then got the female from a pet shop. I love my ratties to bits, but don't tell them I've got a freezer full of their buddies in the same house as them! I don't think they'd ever forgive me!

I like huskies, but they are no good with cats (lots of reports of them killing cats ) and they are EXTREMELY destructive- I like the Northern Inuit dogs as they look like a cross between a wolf and a husky, yet they are brilliant with cats and aren't destructive ;D
