Our anery corn has finished laying her second clutch of 11 eggs, 8 of which are good eggs and 3 slugs. We are hoping for some snows this time round as now we know that she is het for amel and she was mated with a butter, so there are quite a few possible combinations:- amels, normals, snows, plus hets for caramel, anery, butter and amel. I love the anticipation, waiting to se what you get. Especially when you dont know all the parentage as you can get some unexpected outcomes

Unfortunately weve had mould on our eggs, which has made allbut 1 disintegrate . We think it may be caused by the moss we have used, we used fresh moss from a garden centre then sterilised it in boiling water, instead of using dried, packed sphagnum moss. The egg is due to hatch in a couple of weeks, fingers crossed. We are not sure wether we will be keeping it or selling it yet.
