Lovely snake, spitting image of my little boy, what's the temperament like ? I've got a bit of a soft spot for kingsnakes mind you my baby was the first snake I got so that might help.

lol, mine Jimmy, Shane wont hold it (Lmho) He isnt really agressive, sometimes he enjoys being handled and is very calm and friendly, other times he just tries to eat anything that moves. He was ill last year with some sort of gastrointestinal problem and lost his muscle tone, he was very " squidgy", he didnt eat for ages, needed loads of antibiotics and eventually started eating again around christmas time. Now he has a voracious appetite. We were going to let him go, while downsizing our collection, and building up our collection of corns, but it looks like he is here to stay now. Angi

Why is it that whenever I get bitten I'm on my own and without a camera to hand!! I'd love to get a shot like that when i get nabbed by one of my hatchlings.....

Any of the corns that bite just bite and release. It is only the king that latches on and won't let go

Yeah I know what you mean, my florida is very greedy, the cali is much better ( unless I've been handling the mexican black). I can feed the cali pinkies by hand and he wont bite, not to be tried with the florida though. Hopeing for some eggs off my albino cali, cause my baby has been with her and she's due to lay this week.
