Well, I am so excited as you may know I have just moved pyro into a new viv. You can see pics of the viv in the set up section. I just thought I would try to handle him a little bit as I have never done before. I put my hand in near him and he didn't move at all apart from licking my finger. So I tried picking him up. I slipped my finger under his belly and his front feet came up onto my hand. Then I slipped another finger between his back legs and lifted ever so slightly and his back legs came up onto my hand. I was being so careful not to damage his feet and I was shaking like a leaf! He sat there for a few minutes then walked across my hand a little and jumped off onto a branch. I am so happy, I have wanted to handle my cresties for so long and now he has started to let me. I won't try too often so I don't stress him out but this is such a big step or me and him. I know this probably isn't very exciting for a lot of you crestie owners but I am so pleased that after 9 months he finally trusts me enough to let me pick him up. ;D
