Most people are unwary of the National Gecko Association's existence, mainly because it hasn't been publicised yet. But, here is a short brief:
The NGA is a newly formed UK association. Its aims are to help get easy to keep, but rarer geckos (like the Agamura persica) out of the 'Rare Box' and into the 'Common Box'! We also want the gecko community to get to know each other properly and buy/trade there geckos, to get a wider selection of Geckos onto the Captive Bred list and our newer aim is to stamp out WC specimens, which some people may say ive been encouraging!
Anyway, the first event is coming soon, it will be on a Sunday, between August and November, we will let you know ASAP! You will not be required to be a member, but they may be some discounts by the other members selling geckos, If I am selling some, they will be a 25% off to members. The tables will be £10 each, or 2 for £15, If you get a table, but cant make the event, then you will have it refunded. You will be able to sell, or trade, or even both. You may just want to show your geckos off, it's truly up to you!
They may be some Top Breeders there, Like Paul Ritchie and Matt Lusty, but there is no guarantee! The site is www.National-Gecko-Association.org!Click here to sign up!
We also accept embers from any country, and they come with the same benifits!
We will also have many other geckos in a breeding project, and if you want to add yours just join and email us(only members have the breeding project opportunity)! Hopefully your members will be able to wright care sheets and give us permission to use some photos!
Be and Bertie Hobson are trying to get our association to the point the GGA is at, and in the future we will try organise trips to Madagascar and Europe, as well as worldwide trips, for buying Geckos, we are also, hopefully, going to be setting up HeadQuarters in European Countries, to help the people there, and get wider variety of geckos imbetween the UK and Europe, so we all can get the same geckos, at the same price! To make all this work we need all you to join, and help out, this in no one-man effort, its going to be a team effort! Prices are fairly cheap and affordable, and 100% worth it! So don't sit around reading and saying, TAKE ACTION!
