Well I own/keep half a Western Hognose!! My dad is the snake person in our house. He has:
1:1 Western hognoses, 1:1 Jungle Carpet Pythons, 0:1 Spotted Python, 0:1 Childrens Python, 1:2 Corn snakes, 1:0 Radiated ratsnake, 1:1 Taiwan Beauty snake, 1:1 Royal Python, 0:1 Brazilian Rainbow boa. 1:1 Dumerils boas, 0:1 Borneo Short tailed pythons.
Out of the snakes we have I would say the Radiated ratsnake is my favourite. He's lovely and very inquistive, he almost looks like he's intelligent! My dream snake would be a Woma, absolutely stunning (and pricey) snakes. ;D

It is properly known as Boiga cyanea the full name is the Green headed blue eyed catsnake. I have been looking for a friend for my girl but the only one I came accross wanted silly money. Last night I did my usual weekly search and found a pair for £450. I paid £45 for two hatchlings at the last Exotica.

They are not often seen and I know of only one person in the UK that is working with them and they are all sold before he gets any eggs. I am on the list but will not know if it will be male or female or when. The hatchlings are totally different to the adults in colouring and end up all green after a year. they take small pinkies, but when you see them can't believe it. see my URL homepage.ntlworld.com/john.gamesby/dsc00329.jpgJohn

I love the boiga species- I would love to own all the boigas, including the mangrove if I ever get a DWA, although I have heard that they are possibly coming off the DWA so if they do I also love the crysopelea- in fact most arboreal snakes are gorgeous- boids included ;D
